Becoming One
A Relationship-Centered Couples Dance Experience
Becoming One is a guided couples enrichment dance program designed for organizations that serve couples — from churches and ministries to community and relationship-building groups.
Through three intentional sessions, couples learn how to move together, communicate through rhythm, and reconnect in a supportive, pressure-free environment. No prior dance experience is required.
This experience blends structure, embodiment, and connection to support couples in building trust, awareness, and shared rhythm — both on and off the dance floor.​
Facilitated by Marquita Bianca
Marquita Bianca is the Founder and Director of Baila Fuzion Dance & Creative Arts Center and the creator of Date Court Commit, a relationship-centered dance initiative serving couples and communities.
With over a decade of experience working with couples, organizations, and community groups, Marquita blends partner dance, relational awareness, and embodied communication to create experiences that feel accessible, affirming, and deeply human. Her work centers on helping couples reconnect through movement — building trust, presence, and shared rhythm both on and off the dance floor.
Becoming One reflects her belief that movement can open doors to connection that words alone often cannot.
Program Format
Session 1: Men’s Experience
A guided session focused on leadership, awareness, and presence through movement.
Session 2: Women’s Experience
An embodied experience centered on flow, responsiveness, soft power, and communication through movement.
Session 3: Couples Experience
Couples come together for guided practice, social movement, and connection in a supportive group setting.
While one group participates in training, the other enjoys a guided meet-up or workshop facilitated by the host organization — creating a full, community-centered experience.

Becoming One is designed as a high-impact, plug-and-play experience for organizations looking to add a meaningful couples enrichment offering to their calendar. There is no number limit for couple participation.
This investment reflects the full facilitation, preparation, and structure of the program.
Travel outside the Hampton Roads area may incur additional fees.
